Found this cute gelato shop in the main town (el centro) of Merida Yucatan. If you’re looking to get dessert after your lunch/dinner look no further this is the spot for delicious and exquisite gelato. They have different and unique flavors and a variety to choose from. Definitely recommended.

Very well done ice-cream. Not sure if I would call it 'gelato'- it is a bit on the rich side and some of it contains crystals, which makes me think these aren't made fresh each day. Nonetheless, this is an amazing place to get some artisenal ice-cream in great flavours like 'passion-fruit-pineapple-basil' or the Polish 'piernik' which actually tastes like that gingerbread-like cake! So far, the best ice-cream I've tried in Mérida!

Vegan friendly Gelato shop. I chose avocado and blood orange flavor and very satisfied with Pola gelato after a full meal of Mexican food.

We’ve come to Pola twice during our 3 nights stay in Merida. The ice creams here are delicious!! Very exquisite flavours: orange-chocolate-almond-orange peel, lavender- hibiscus, vanilla-custard were our favourites. And the home made waffle cones are the best.. I highly recommend this centrally located ice cream shop!

Spent a week in Merida and went there almost every day. The kids insisted, and they know what they're talking about. Great boutique ice cream and sorbet, a variety of unique flavors and great atmosphere.
