This place is a fantastic speakeasy worth visiting. Excellent cocktail menu, dark but vibrant atmosphere. Live music after ten. Drinks are priced well and quality is top notch. You'll figure out how to get here.

This is a sneaky place to get there, but once you find it, it's an amazing little bar. Take a date or go with one or two friends, no more, or else you won't fit ????. But the music, atmosphere, drinks, place and people are definitely worth your time and money. Enjoy.

Been going to Malahat since I moved here 2 yrs ago. WAS one of my favorite places and I recommended it to ALL of my Airbnb guests and often accompanied them. It has changed from a secret, undiscovered hideaway to just a regular bar that is packed. Last night I took my friends who had never been and we were more or less 'bribed' at the door to get a table. He told us there was standing room only...however for a price we could get the first table available. We paid him $200 pesos which he pocketed and when the table became available we sat down and then were told it was reserved and we had to move. We refused to move and stated that we had every right to be there. We were then harassed by the door man (who accepted our money) and claimed it was a 'tip' and that he could lose his job and wanted us to retract our claim. I then talked to the bar manager to explain our case and he had the same attitude. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SPEAKEASY MALAHAT!!

This place has been closed for a year 5/21. They have another business across the street that they want you to go to so they keep this listing live/active. They’ll answer phone and tell you to come there. Very angry to be played.
