We had a very enjoyable stay with Casa Italia. We previously had booked with their sister hotel (Casa San Lucia) but switched due to construction before we arrived. The hotel is pretty, clean, and quiet. Our room was huge with very cold air conditioning, large bathroom, complimentary robes, extra storage, a safe, and an expresso machine. The owners/managers made sure we were well taken care of. We had complimentary breakfast every day which was very good. The location is a tad far from shops and restaurants, but very walkable. We also quickly got an uber when needed.

Nice big rooms and very friendly, helpful staff. There was no hot water when we arrived, but the staff fixed it the next day. The AC and fridge were super noisy during the night though.

Cute little hotel just off Paseo Montejo. Staff was helpful and friendly. Decent breakfast, pool area and courtyard. Bed was very comfortable. No lift, but only about 4 floors total. I would stay here again

A really quiet hotel. I totally recommend to stay here. Great place to stay in and relax, small and cozy hotel. The crew is very friendly and willing to help you in any direction you need to. The breakfast is good enough for the price and considering that it's included in the rate. The only thing is that we were assigned to the top room and the water pressure isn't good at some time during the day.

Free breakfast is much better than expected. Prepare yourself a little more time to enjoy it.
The pool area can feel much different too if you come in the early morning. It's a buzziling time for the flying creatures.
The parking garage is half a block away but the assistant would walk ahead of you to show the place.

Fantastic hotel and great staff. We had a small balcony, nice big room, and comfy beds. Great shower. Staff spoke great English and helped me arrange a rental car. Overall one of the best hotels stays I have experienced. Can't recommend enough. The small room on the main floor was a little loud (we stayed over an extra day and that was the only room available).

We stayed here in mid February and were very pleased with our choice. The property is beautiful, our room was spacious and extremely comfortable. Everything at Casa Italia is first class. Most importantly, the hotel staff were welcoming and helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. This hotel treats its guests like family, which is high praise indeed in the hospitality industry. When we return to Merida, this will be where we will stay. We recommend Casa Italia without reservation!
