This bar at the top of the Double Tree is a hidden gem. The location is excellent, and the views are amazing. You sit and overlook the plaza. Their small lunch appetizers have good portions, and the drinks are fantastic. I visit this place every time I am in town just to relax and enjoy the scenery.

I would say yes for spending time for drinks. Nice view. Service was not rushing so enjoy the sunset time. (Covered indoor seating area and roof covered outside seating area)
Meal experience: Waited a long time (about 45mins) and taste, creativity was not what we expected.
Again, it is a nice spot for drinks.

2.5 if I could, view is quiet nice. We were there for sunset and choose indoors because it was 95 degree outside. I was very dissatisfied with my meal. I got the pollo japonês. I kid you know it was the saltiest dish I’ve ever had, EVER. The chicken was fine but the rice and vegetables were drenched in salsa de Maggie and I was unable to eat it. Hubby got the ribeye he rates it 4/5 and he said his only complaint was that it had a lot of fat.

Fantastic location, great atmosphere, excellent food

Piso Siete is a Doubletree restaurant, so you expect it to be good, but this one is truly a cut above many I've visited.

The balcony setting is extremely well presented and laid out, and boasts a spectacular view of Guadalajara cathedral. Service, too, is warm, friendly, and attentive.

After numerous meals I can confidently state that the food here is excellent, so this really is one of those places thats cores full marks across the board.

If you're visiting Guadalajara, this is a "must visit" restaurant.

Guest of the hotel for 5 days, and have been making my way up for drinks with a view - and this morning got to enjoy an amazing breakfast with great service! I’m traveling alone, and have been sitting here enjoying the amazing views and my absolutely delicious breakfast! I opted for the a la carte menu and Started with a latte and some fruit and decided to get a mimosa and some chilaquiles and OMG! The best! Alexis the waiter suggested to do half red and half green because I couldn’t decide. Just wow. I read reviews about slow service, but I don’t mind a slower pace with this breathtaking view and great service from Alexis and Daniela! (By the way they were packed)

Overpriced, servers abandoned me, it’s freezing cold even inside, portions not great. I’d suggest going outside of the hotel to get dinner.

Great food with a view!! It’s a nice and cozy restaurant with a beautiful view. You can see the church facing the restaurant. The people are nice here by mistake they misheard our order and brought the food but at the time of payment they didn’t charge for the extra item. I tried their ravioli 3 cheese pasta, salad and it was delicious. The food is on pricey side though.
