My husband and I came with hopes of a safe, personalized, and expertly run dive. Jorge hires a good team. Alfredo was our dive guide who took expert care of us. Even though we had all of our own gear, he assisted without being asked, listened intently to our concerns, and kept watch during the dive.
The boat captain made sure to pick us up quickly once we surfaced. We recommend Scorpio Divers.

These guys are fantastic! Jorge got me and my kids (14 and 17) booked for two days of dives to finish their open water certification, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Alfredo was extremely thorough -- he made sure my kids understood the skills they needed to certify and why they needed them. We had four amazing dives, and we had their temporary cards before we even got back to the hotel after the last dive. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Highly Recommended! I booked my dive package with this operator. Jorge took care of everything … transportation from the hotel to the dive site in Cozumel and back. No need to take the ferry from Plaza Del Carmen. I was at my hotel in Cancun by 230 pm after 2 dives. Staff were very friendly and very professional. The only downside was I didn’t have the chance to meet and thank Jorge personally.

Looking for a dive operator for your trip to Cancun? Look no further. Seriously! I will save you the 2 hours I spent researching dive operators for my trip to Cancun. I finally came across Scorpio Divers which had excellent reviews. Well now I can vouch for them too. These guys run a good operation.

I booked a 3-day 6 dive package (4 in Cancun and 2 in Cozumel as a part of the day trip to Cozumel package). Outstanding experience all around. Professional, safe, and knowledge guides who really know what they are doing (Alfredo and Miguel). Also the groups are really small so you almost get a personal dive guide (on 4 of the 6 divers we did!). Just me, my wife, and the guide.

The day trip to Cozumel is a must. You here that Cozumel is one of the best dive sights in the world and it lived up to the hype (by far our 2 favorite dives of the week). The pickup in the morning went great (driver was on time) and within an hour we were in Playa Del Carmen and onto the boat to Cozumel (don’t waste your time with the ferry to Cozumel unless you like lines and crowds).

This was my first experience with a “boutique” dive operator (I usually book through big dive operators) but this experience changed my outlook on them. Trust me, go right to the email, send Jorge an outline of what you are looking to do (he is great at follow up) and then have peace of mind that you will be in good hands with Scorpio Divers. Thanks again Jorge, Alfredo, and Miguel, we had a great time with Scorpio Divers this week!

My go to place now for diving w my young son. Can’t say enough about the attention to the important details for a safe dive. It made my dive that much more pleasant and relaxing, knowing we were in good hands. Jorge the manager was so professional handling all the details and making sure we had the best guides for my kid. And he so delivered: Alfredo and Miguel gave us the time of our lives, they know these reefs like their pockets, and made a point to show us everything. You can tell by the engagement of its employees that Scorpio Divers is a great operation. Safe, professional, fair priced, pleasant and fun. What more could I ask for. We’ll be back for sure.

I highly recommend this place for completing your scuba certification and doing your checkout dives. They offer dives to MUSA, the reef, shipwrecks, and more. As a first time diver, having trust in the instructor and feeling comfortable about my safety in the water were very important to me. Jorge and his crew speak good English and have many years of diving experience. Alfredo was my instructor and gave very clear instruction in and out of the water. Also, the dive boat captain was an excellent driver. When I am in back in Cancun, I will definitely book through SD again for a small personalized diving experience and small crew. Make sure you buy one of their T-shirts. They’re very soft, made well, and have a cool Scorpio Divers logo. Thanks Jorge and team!

I really appreciated how this dive company did not waste any time! They picked us up from our hotel with private transportation from Cancun to Playa del Carmen so we could dive Cozumel. As soon as we were out of the car we were on the boat and on our way. We did three dives and they were beautiful- Reef, Wreck and bullshark. Great value, and our guide (Miguel) was so fun and took wonderful pictures of us with his GoPro. Would highly recommend. We did blue life 4 years ago and this company is 1000x better. Will continue to book with them in the future
