This used to be a wonderful boutique hotel when managed by owners. Now, after being bought by a chain, it is in total disrepair.
Dark areas, old dirty carpets, worn towels, disengaged employees.
Save yourself a disappointment. This is not a boutique hotel.

Ok don’t come here for the food. The menu is limited and some of the items were not available.

Do come to have a cup of coffee
And walk around the hotel.

I did not stay here but there is a huge legend and extremely impressive almost museum quality to this building.

That is worth to come in, we were told we could not come in unless we were staying there or came in to eat.

I can’t say how the hotel service is, but have a quick bite and walk around.

This hotel is amazing and the architecture is stunning. The best part of this hotel is the entrance as the rooms are quite old and not very comfortable. They don’t have coffee or water bottles in the room. As a gay man staying in this hotel with my husband I felt very unwelcome and the personnel there were not friendly or welcoming. On the last day when I went down stairs to leave our keys I didn’t get any greeting or an acknowledgment and felt completely uncomfortable and awkward. I don’t recommend this hotel and will never stay there again.

This is a historic monument, however we were unwelcome to have a wonder around the ground floor. Really bad that historic monuments are privatised and staff won’t let people to visit them, just for pure cultural interest. Really bad.

This place is terrible! They lost our family reservation for New Year's dinner. They said "we are sorry" and offered "free breakfast for the trouble" meanwhile we were trying to buy a decent dinner on January 31 at 8 PM. All because these people have a terrible administration, and a worst computer system, which is probably a small laptop. Just be careful if you are planning to stay at this hotel, remember to have a plan B in case they lost your reservation. The building is beautiful, the architecture is very nice and worth visiting. However you can stay at a better hotel with better management and go and visit downtown. Perhaps stop by and visit the lobby of the hotel, just don't risk your vacations staying with them. Is not worth it.

Very nice breakfast. Música con Roberto y Roberto (padre y hijo)(father and son) was perfect for the meal. The House of the Marquesa hotel is a beautiful example of colonial architecture, and one of the more pleasant experiences we've had in Querétaro. Although we did not stay in the hotel, we were invited to tour the second floor area. It was beautiful!

This is an amazingly charming, fully-restored, old mansion. It was a lot of fun to experience living in one of these old mansions. I would highly recommend this place. And the staff were really nice.
