No hot water and the electricity was only a generator. I enjoy hostels normally. The hostel is next to 2 bars that play extremely loud music til 4AM. No sleeping here. Cold showers and very little light. It is very run down. If you are a club goer and very young stay here maybe? Not for a morning person or someone that likes hot showers.

Roger was a magnificent host and it was comfortable and felt like home. You are half a block off the Malecón and the price is right for sure!!! The bar is always ready to accommodate and lots of amenities.... don’t sleep on this one, it’s legit !!!! Can’t wait to come back !!!!
