Extremely unfriendly and not willing to accommodate for customers when the room is ready and you wanna get out of the 200 degree weather…. They wait till the last bitter minute. Employees don’t always speak English so sometimes you’ll have to do things for yourself as they just play dumb not to help you. I stayed at alarmar prior to staying here and gosh how much I regret booking a second hotel to try something different. Never again.

Loved our stay here. The rooftop pool was literally beyond stunning and extremely well maintained. The room was very comfortable and fully stocked, but a little bit small for two couples. It was nice having two bathrooms and the towels were refreshed whenever we wanted. The balcony was also huge and we found ourselves spending a lot of time out there. The hotel is next to the main highway towards the south, so if you have a room close to the highway, it can be noisy. Room cleaning was extremely thorough and Rebeka did an amazing job!!

The only problem we had was having guests over (also the only reason I'm not giving 5*). To use the pool, even though it was 630 at night and there was no one in it, the bar staff asked that our two guests pay $800 MXN each to access the pool. Like cmon, it's the end of the day, we're ordering lots of drinks and food and this is the service we received? Totally unacceptable.

One thing to note, if you're mobility challenged the Pinnacle resorts will be difficult to access since they're on top of a hill. For us the location was amazing (nice little workout at the end of the day) as you're 5 mins from the beach and 5 mins from the bars and restaurants depending on which side of the hill you go down.

Stayed at 220 in #401 2b/2b with the ocean view. Full kitchen with gas stove, washer u0026 dryer.
Very clean rooms!!!!!! The staff was very nice and welcoming. Any time you needed anything they was there to answer or sent someone to help. Loved the fact that the parking was inside the building on the bottom floor. Also had a pool on the rooftop with amazing views and full bar. 220 is a block away from the beach, great local food and shopping. Don't forget to stop by the front desk and get your breakfast cards, can be used at 3 different restaurants in the area. Make sure you keep your brace that you get at check-in on during your whole stay. Definitely make sure you check-out at the front desk as well.

Really good clean rooms. The only problem was the older man at the reception desk at the 220. Lazy and unpleasant. More than once I approached him and he sits on the chair, and talks on his personal cell phone. I have to get his attention, then he stands up and tells the person who he is talking to, to hold on. He leaves the phone on his ear and makes me feel like you are bothering him. Why is he even working there? Whev I would walk by to my room or to exit, he is always on the chair and on his cell phone.

Not going back. I booked 9 months in advance for my second time there, requested a room with a view several times. Nope... 1st floor. Then we realized just how strict the policy is about drinking YOUR OWN DRINK at the rooftop bar: that was NOT ALLOWED. You must buy their's. And forget ordering food. The kitchen is open when they feel like it. I'll keep shopping next time....
