Wonderful Italian Restaurant. This restaurant is hiding on a side street but is an incredible gem. The food is what I can only imagine, what food in Italy tastes like. The flavors are incredible and everything is so fresh. I was able to order a gluten-free seafood pasta which was incredible and my friend ordered the veggie lasagna which was also amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Just off the main street. Small great service. More expensive than I thought it was going to be. Saltimbocca was just OK, I'd not choose it again. Bolognese was excellent. Wine was all expensive. Guess I better pay attention to the dates menu photos were posted. One four years ago was a bit out of date. Way better prices!

We went her for a late lunch. The owners are great people. Very kind and friendly. Clean, relaxing and enjoyable place. Service was terrific. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo was great. For those who do not want a LOT of olive oil make sure to let them know to go easy on the oil. The food was delicious. The small garlic with tomatoes starter was free and yummy. They were kind enough to separate our chicken fettuccine into 2 bowls.

Great Italian restaurant. Authentic dishes and good wine selection. Great service and the staff was pleasant and nice. Recommend it highly

We recently spent 15 days at the beach and were thrilled to dine at Ortensia Funiculi. It was such a nice meal that we returned a second time. The location is ideal, as it is very convenient but a few steps up the hill from all the noise on Olas Altas. The outdoor tables look down towards the beach and the sunset.

While I am vegetarian, my partner enjoys all foods. We both enjoyed our choices. To start we had the caprese salad which was fresh and sufficiently large enough to share. I moved on to the cannelloni and he had the carbonara. The pasta in each was perfectly prepared.

The wine list is fine; what one would expect from a restaurant of this size (12 tables?). We did not have dessert yet there are several options for those who wish to do so.

There are now 4 Italian restaurants within 2 blocks of each other in this part of Zona Romantica. In terms of overall food and service quality, this is definitely the best option.

Food was amazing! Service was top notch! Free appetizer and free dessert, all flavorful and delicious. Must eat Italian food!!!!
