Had the chicken plate and posole. It was a good traditional Mexican place but the taste was not the best for me I’ve had other spots in Vallarta with better traditional food. I’ll be giving it a second chance later on.

On a rainy nite, I walked by and the diner like appearance drew me in. Comfort Mexican food at it's best. A whole lotta love, time and experience go into their recipes. Sometimes, even though I thought I knew what was coming, the flavor explosion was a surprise. Do NOT judge this book by its cover. Plus, Mama's homemade house sauce will knock your socks off. I couldn't finish my whole meal, but took it to go. They gave me more of the sides as well and the service/price can't be beat. Definitely one of my top 5 favorite meals in PVR so far.

The food here is amazing. The pozole, the enchiladas, the tostadas, and the sopes were so mouth-watering and delicious. I’d come back here again! My partner and I loved it! It was recommended by a friend of ours and I’d say the food was so authentically good!

Best Mexican food I've ever had. I stronly recommend it. Family own, this has been opened since 1984. What are waiting for? Go and try it.
