Relaxing vibe and delicious meal for visitors and locals alike. I waited very patiently for my whole snapper for lunch when the fire just started and it was delicious. I appreciated the quiet and friendly vibe and quiet (at least during lunch) The octopus tostata was perfect as an appetizer, and so was the hibiscus water. The nice, attentive, friendly service from staff and owner was a memorable easygoing local meal experience. Bring cash.

Between the open air patio overlooking the river and the flawless shrimp ceviche, this little gem is magical, delicious, and also very laid back and unpretentious. Can’t fault it. Oh, and the iguana was just a bonus.

Just happened to walk by and noticed the red snapper slow-grilling. There was a cheerful vibe going on here. Situated on the banks of the Cuale River, this little eatery is chock full of neighborhood, family home-cooked feels. I decided to give it a try and was blown away by the perfection of flavors. Guacamole, salsas, grilled red snapper and a mineral water! $350 mx. Everything in their well-thought menu in is a win. Their chefs know flavor! Even the egrets know a good thing! They feed these precocious birds and the frenzy that ensues is quite entertaining. The owners and staff are inviting and personable and may even share a glass of raicilla with you while entertaining you with stories and conversation. There also have a restroom for use if needed. You cannot go wrong here. It’s a must-try in Puerto Vallarta, Zona Romantica.

We came in the midst of a rain storm and had one of the best seafood/service experiences ever! The people running the place were so nice and gracious, we even got some free dishes and shots of drinks we didn’t order. The food was absolutely delicious and we felt it was made with much care and LOVE. We’re definitely coming back when the sun comes out to try the grilled fish! Highly recommended!!!!

This is one of the best seafood salads I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked shrimp and octopus, and occasionally it includes oysters too. They’ve been doing it right since 1986. A chill relaxed riverside setting right in Emiliano Zapata. A hidden gem.
