Absolutely excellent. I’ve truly never had a meal as good and with such excellent, attentive-yet-comfortable, professional service. The mole and pipian were delicious, as was the tortilla soup, and the complementary bread with artisanal spreads. We had a memorable strawberry jubilee dessert to top it all off, and the bill per person was only about 250 pesos, or $12 USD. We’re used to a meal of this quality in food and service costing $100+ USD.
Felix and the other waiters there anticipated our every need and were very friendly, but never overly attentive—something that can be hard to get right, but was done so well at our meal. The care and attention to detail given to the food and the experience was evident from the moment we ordered to the time we left. We left full of some delicious Poblano classics and ready to come back soon.
