The hotel is very clean, well located near bars yet you don’t hear anything in your room so that’s great, the pool is small but great and the beach is right in front.The people that work there are very efficient and helpful. I’d definitely book there again ????

The night staff were my favorite. They are super friendly and welcoming and so hard working. We checked in around midnight and they took our room service order for the morning at 9am and the same night staff brought us our breakfast. During these times so many businesses use "covid" as an excuse to not provide good service but the hospitality here was on point. They clean the rooms daily and provide fresh towels and even leave an elephant folded towel on our bed. Its all in the small details... I want to personally thank everyone her, and can't leave out the wonderful young lady who serviced our room daily. Also, the wall decor is from local artists. It's a small boutique hotel and the experience was so unique. If you're looking to try something other than the "resort-style" experience, this is a great choice. The front desk guy from the daytime was also very warm and friendly. Didn't have much interaction with him but the few times we did need help, he was super helpful and super nice. I'll definitely return to this same hotel in the near future.

This was our first time in Mexico and we really enjoyed our stay here at Playa Palms. Our room was comfortable, clean, and the staff were very hospitable. You're just steps away from the beach and only a couple blocks away from the downtown area, which has plenty of restaurants, shops and entertainment. We typically don't eat the hotel food and prefer to check out what's around us, but the breakfast here was super cheap for two and so good! My only complaint here would be the parking. If you're looking for a nice, affordable beachfront hotel, don't hesitate to try this place.

Freddie at the reception is very nice! The room is super nice, comfortable and clean. The hammock is the best! The beach access is private and calm. The place seems secure and safe and in the heart of all the fun. Very good for the price and I felt super safe travelling here solo. They called a cab for me when I requested and always available for help. I loved it!

Great experance. Great rate. Great location. Check in was fast and easy. The seaweed was crazy but not hotels fault. This location is about dead center of 5th. There are several clubs down the street but still quite at hotel. We will ne back.

Cute boutique hotel. Rooms are on the smaller side and beds have room for improvement. But is a good value near the water. Beach out front does not connect to a bigger beach. Very small beach area. Which is kind of quiet and intimate.

The hotel is ok for a short stay and if you are not planning to stay for too long.
The rooms are spacy however, I did not find the bed comfortable.
The beach is the biggest downside, it is too rocky, too dirty and too small.
if you are planning to use this hotel as a hub for your expeditions, tours, night life, then it is a great choice, otherwise, I think you could find other options.
