Stayed here New Year's Eve (Dec 31, 2014). Nice quiet location by the golf course. Private parking off the street. We had a large room on the ground floor with adjacent but dedicated bathroom. Nice couple - easy to talk to and gave us lots of recommendation (so did other renters.) We had to leave early on both days, but the host managed to make / have some breakfast ready for us. Will stay here again.

The bathroom needs a good paint refresh, access is through the common areas, so you have to get out of the room (little privacy) and not practical at night.
The very (too basic) breakfast, placed on the table, for example the last day: coffee with milk or tea + rusks + industrial jam (and nothing else).
Note that our room, on the ground floor, overlooked the street, with recurring noises that interfere with sleeping peacefully.
The swimming pool (bean-shaped) is tiny, with very little space around it and is rather in the shade (not very appealing).
In the end, we were quite disappointed, especially after seeing several opinions that were perhaps complacent (because they came from friends or family?).
Subsequently we found in the housing sector with better quality / price ratios.

Tout d'abord nous avons eu du mal à trouver le logement ,nous avons tourné plus de 20 mn dans le secteur (pas assez d'indications précises).
La salle de bain nécessite un bon rafraîchissement en peinture, l'accès se faisant par les parties communes ,il faut donc sortir de la chambre (peu d'intimité ) et pas pratique dans la nuit .
Le petit déjeuner très (trop basique ), posé sur la table ,par exemple le dernier jour : café au lait ou thé + biscottes + confiture industrielle (et rien d'autre).
À noter que notre chambre ,en rez de chaussée ,donnait sur la rue, avec des bruits récurrents qui gênent pour dormir paisiblement .
La piscine (forme haricot) est riquiqui, avec très peu de place autour et est plutôt à l'ombre (donne pas très envie).
Au final nous avons été assez déçus surtout après avoir vu plusieurs avis peut-être complaisants (car venant d'amis ou de la famille ?).
Par la suite nous avons trouvé dans le secteur des logements avec de meilleurs rapports qualité /prix.

1) pésima hospitalidad. falta de comunicacion de la anfitriona, poco amable, el primer día llegamos a una casa que no es un "hotel", toda oscura.
la primera impresión una casa mal cuidada, vieja, la habitación grande, vieja, totalmente distinta a la foto, la misma noche no había toallas ni papel higiénico, ni el control del aire acondicionado( servicio ya pagado en forma adicional por noche).
2) el primer día al volver de nuestras excursiones la habitación no estaba limpia, en el baño había insectos como cucarachas.
3) el refrigerador no funcionaba correctamente.
4) EL SEGUNDO DIA LA ANFIATRIONA NOS IMFORMA QUE TENEMOS Q CAMBIAR DE "HOTEL" POR UN PROBLEMA DE ELECTRICIDAD PARA EL DIA SIGUIENTE, A 1 KM APROX MAS DEL CENTRO DE PLAYA DEL CARMEN.
5) el tercer día fuimos a una casa mucho más linda con mejor hospitalidad de la anfitriona nueva, la habitación era mejor pero sin una cama extragrande cm se pactó cuando se realizó el pago vía booking. Sólo había 2 camas separadas.
6) el último día al usar el aire acondicionado la anfitriona sin motivos nos corta la electricidad a las 9am sólo la fase q conecta el aire ya que en el resto de la habitación y baño había luz.
7) la anfitriona se va antes del checkout dejando una nota.
8) PESIMA EXPERIENCIA NUNCA NOS PASO NADA IGUAL, LAS DOS ANFITRIONAS DE NACIONALIDAD ITALIANAS.
9) NO ENTIENDO LAS PUNTUACIONES QUE TIENE EL "PSEUDO HOTEL MEXICO Y NUBES"
