Room was nice and comfortable BUT they definitely need to put windows or some sort of ventilation in the restroom because oh my goodness!!!
Yes water is salty but from what I heard from others all the hotels are like that ????????u200d♀️
Employees are all very nice!

I was very happy with the service. the room has a balcony which came in handy with my husband that is a smoker and we had all the action from the balcony and the music did not stop us from sleeping at night I was very satisfied with this hotel and the price was very in budget

Charged me $20 extra for my gf. Forgot to put it on Expedia reservation. Regardless, it woulda been the same price had I remembered to put 2 ppl for the reservation. Retarded… very stupid. Scam, just to take extra $. Future reference, always put the amount of ppl in the room.

Also, shower has no pressure, window don’t exist.

Staff is nice but the sheets are dirty. Probably had c*m stains. Also they're just sheets, no blankets. Also the room cards are cheap: they got demagnetized around 4 times and didn't work in the rooms after a bit. The staff reset them but it's annoying.

Didn't enjoy my time here. Spent 3 days and wish I never booked it. Room had fruit flies in it. Day 1 there was no Hot water (they did fix it on day 2). Asked for an extra towel on the last day and reception was asking me why I needed it. Save your hard earned money and book elsewhere.

My main search criteria was a budget room that included a jacuzzi. This place checked all the boxes and looked awesome in the images. We opted for the family room for only 2 nights. I called multiple times to state my doubts and they warmly cleared them each time.

Upon arriving, we didn't bother to test the jacuzzi and set out to discover downtown PDC. That night after much wait, the jacuzzi didn't fill up. Next day we brought this up and maintenance was quick to respond but, that night a second problem was discovered, the jet streams didn't function. Only one nozzle spurted water, but out of the tub, wetting the floor. We used towels to dry up the hazard. We didn't bother to ask to fix it or change us to another room since we were nearing our leave to our all inclusive hotel. When we asked for more towels for the pool the desk was rude stating they were going to run out. I didn't bother to let them know the room towels were soaked due to their malfunctioning jacuzzi.

I still think it's the best budget hotel that includes a jacuzzi in that area and would give them a second chance but with this experience learnt, I'd ensure the jacuzzi is 100% before settling in.

PS. Kudos to the safe pool height for my kid, shade in the pool, the warm employees, gigantic room with comfy cloudlike beds. This place is a 5 stars for the price.

My family and I had a nightmare experience at this hotel. We traveled with a party of 6 and booked the family style room with three large beds. We had only planned on staying at this hotel for one night until our Airbnb was ready the next day. After a long day of traveling and making it to Playa Del Carmen we had found that our hotel was in the center of the cities nightlife and very close to everything, but that would be the last of our positivity towards this hotel. When we tried to check in the receptionist let us know that our room was not available and all she had was a room for four people. I was upset and tried to
Reason and explain that we are a family and can’t split up . The receiptionist apologized and said she would “only charge us for 2 people and not 4”.
I would have left but at this point it was New Year’s weekend and every hotel in the city was booked out online so we stayed . I then started walking door-to-door to different hotels to find a second hotel room that the other three members of the family could stay at for one night. After 6 hotels we found a single room available and booked it.
We came back from going to a quick pharmacy and store run to find that a new receptionist was sitting at the front desk. The man claimed that we had not paid for the 3rd u0026 4th members to stay at the hotel. He insisted that we pay extra, we tried to explain to him what his coworker said to us and asked him to call her but he refused. He then showed us his portion of the receipt where you can see that “4 personas was crossed out and “2 personas” was written next to it. You can obviously tell that they were trying to scam us. All our luggage was upstairs and some of the family was feeling too tired to look for another hotel at 11pm on nye weekend so we paid the extra and left the next morning. When we tried to get our included breakfast the next morning they went back to claiming it was only 2 people supposed to Stay in the room. An obvious SCAM STAY AWAY. luckily we were tons of restaurants nearby and we were able to check into our Airbnb that morning.
Also there are no windows or hot water.
