The ambiance was great.
Service was on the right track, but not quite hitting the mark. They were sometimes visiting too often when we didn't need them, and other times neglected to take items off the table when we were done with them. For example, we ordered 2 rounds of drinks, one massive drink from the first round was still on our table when we left the restaurant.
Some of the drinks were awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed the mojito 1700, it was the star of the show for me.
The food was disappointing. We had a fig salad, but it felt more like a meat and cheese platter with a few leaves of greenery - the prosciutto was too salty u0026 thick. The tacos were missing something bright, such as lime or pickled onions. Across multiple dishes, every item was off in some important way that kept it from being a great dish. The oysters were overcooked and tough.
The food also didn't sit well with us, it was like eating a greasy meal even though the food wasn't greasy.
I think the restaurant has the potential to be good - the foundations are decent but missing something small but important here and there.
