Clean u0026 tasty vegan food. As a chef I can tell they make everything from scratch and it was all delicious. Perfect preparation and good service. Really friendly. Favorite restaurant in Oaxaca City! The Pilmeni are bomb. ????Thank you ????

Absolutely incredible vegan restaurant, so glad I happened upon them! Great food, warm and friendly service, and great prices. Just a gem in Oaxaca, and deserves to be more well known!

Falafel was very fresh and tasty.
A ramen... Well, as far as a vegan ramen goes in Oaxaca (which isn’t far tbh) it was good.
They have a menu del día for 85 pesos and I’ll def be back to try it.

A very serene little vegan Japanese restaurant owned by a Japanese family living in Oaxaca. Great flavors and something different to try when exploring outside of traditional Oaxaca cuisine. The food had both Asian and Mexican flavor profiles. The menu del dia (soup, main, dessert, juice) was light but the perfect portion for me on a hot summer day.

Update: have found myself coming here every other day while in Oaxaca. This restaurant has been a little oasis for me. I find myself craving vegetables and Asian/Japanese flavors in Mexico and the charming family at Viriditas manages to be so creative with it. I had no idea vegan food could be so nuanced. What a hidden gem this is — an absolute must visit and am already missing it.

I just had their vegan "meal of the day," for just 85 pesos. It was actually pretty good! Light, very healthy and light, but a range of different smaller dishes- fresh u0026 good quality. The falafel is really good too.... and the chocolate u0026 banana smoothie is superfood haven. :) I recommend this place if in the area, gracias.

As for me, the Best vegan restaurant in Oaxaca! Very affordable! Very welcoming Japanese owners! Just love this place! They have menú del día which is different every day for just 85 pesos !

Really nice menu del dia. The dishes were beautifully presented and very tasty. Portions were light but very reasonably priced. We returned a few times during our trip.
