Delicious food. Awesome tacos and pozole. But what impressed us the most is the warm corn cake! My top 3 dessert in Oaxaca:) the cheese fondue wasn’t that good.

OK Pastor, *excellent* carnitas
This is one of those "generic" taquerias that you can find all over the place. Which isn't a bad thing - "generic" is used in the sense of "they're everywhere", but as you might imagine, the tacos are really really good (hey, it's a high bar they have over here in Oaxaca).
They've got a huge pastor thingy out front - and it's good, but the hidden charm/value here is in the carnitas - they are outstanding!

This place is very popular and even on Sunday evening there was constant line outside. Unfortunately, they were also out of many options, but the options for tacos al vapor they had left were good. We also had pozole - a traditional stew made of hominy. Really good option to get quick and affordable snack.

LOOK AT ALL THESE SAUCES ???? the food- also absolutely delicious!!! We got the gringa, the pastor taco as is, two pastor tacos with cheese, and a volcan. The two pastor tacos with cheese do not come with cilantro and onion, so there’s just an FYI! But the sauces and all the food were incredibly fresh and delicious. Highly recommend stopping by!

Good tacos Al pastor, great melted cheese with meat, but avoid tortas, the bread was very stale :(

This place was open late which was awesome after enjoying Mezcal in the area. They have a menu in English if you need it. Their Posole is really good as are the tacos. I would recommend the grilled tacos over the al vapor (steamed) tacos because they are just way better that way hahaha. Not sure how steamed tacos ever came into style, maybe if you have dental problems? But I digress and have just insulted and entire genre of cuisine, lol, what am I thinking? Anyway, if you are hungry, don't want to spend too much, and are looking for some good food this is a solid option. They serve beer too.

The place is more so like street food however, the chicken, steak and pork tacos were great! The service is quick and tacos are fresh! Def recommend to anyone visiting Oaxaca! Also definitely try the pickled carrots!
