Loved my stay at Hotel Azul. The staff are super friendly, helping us plan our trip and even getting a birthday cake for my friend. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the peaceful courtyard and terrace are great - good breakfast and just the perfect location in the middle of the city center, walking distance from all the central attractions.

We had a fine stay in a double room as part of a tour. Hotel has a nice courtyard and interior balconies and a rooftop terrace. The courtyard would benefit from more furniture and when it was raining we could have sat on the covered balcony area (or 1st floor) had there been chairs. The rooftop terrace had blaring music, which didn't make in conducive to relaxation. The included breakfast was fine. Hotel was reasonably quiet for sleeping and I'm a light sleeper. Beds were comfortable. Staff were polite. Everything is in walking distance.

Hotel Azul is a top boutique hotel in Oaxaca. From every little detail of the bedrooms to the friendliness of the staff, this is a must stay in the city. They have established robust Health u0026 Safety protocols, which allows them to keep the business going. Our family had a great time here and we can highly recommend not only the hotel but the restaurant with an excellent chef! We want to be back!

Right in the heart of Oaxaca, this hotel is a spin between the colonial and modern decore. The staff was friendly, helpful and always with a smile. You'll be at a walking distance from delicious restaurants and shops. Just be careful that your stay won't coincide with an event, or you'll be hearing the party all night. Other than that, it's a lovely place to stay.

The hotel itself is great, pretty and clean rooms that emanate we vibe of Oaxaca. All suites are different and designed by artists from the state. If money is not a problem be sure to ask and have a look. Some of them are just beautiful. The restaurant is pretty good too. Can get a bit crowded during peak season but can be pretty empty too. Don’t be afraid to enter if you are not staying in the hotel. Food is amazing (a Mexican gourmet cousine) and will not leave you disappointed. Be sure to try the fish tacos.

Beautiful hotel with accommodating staff. The morning breakfast is deliciously and expertly displayed. Also, the beds are really comfortable! Four stars for the bathrooms which are cramped and the shower situation is a little annoying in the non- suites.
