Our tour guide Betsy was not only a fun and friendly person to spend time with, but insanely knowledgeable about the history, culture, and food of Oaxaca. We booked a food tour with her, and she was SO INCREDIBLE that we booked an artisan and market tour with her 2 days later! Her tours were truly the best part of our trip. I feel like we never would have gotten the experiences we did without her. She and her husband run an incredible business - they are so professional and responsive. You instantly feel like a friend is showing you around town. Book something with them. Now.

We did the walking food tour. First of all Betsy was a wonderful tour guide. She was welcoming, catered to everyone’s needs, and leaves a great taste in your mouth :) This tour was an amazing way to experience all of the different local cuisines. We especially appreciated how she provided history and the culture of the area along with suggestions of the best places in the market to purchase merchandise and food. She showed us beautiful murals. Also loved how she included trying local fruits in addition to the prepared cuisines. She is a mother to all and I’d recommend this for anyone at any time during their stay in Oaxaca

Can not recommend this tour enough! It was fun, the food was delicious and we learned a lot about the history of Oaxaca throughout. Our host, Betsy, was simply awesome. She was funny, entertaining and spoke impeccable english. We also visited markets and tasted foods that we never would have thought about (such as native fruits, which were amazing!). My husband and I left stuffed to the gills and even made some freinds. I'd do this tour again in a heartbeat!

We took a food tour of Oaxaca with Betsy and it was as educational and entertaining as it was delicious!
I HIGHLY recommend her!
As we walked, Betsy toured us through some historical sites, as well as some cool little locations where movie scenes were filmed.
She is thoughtful and very well versed on all of the foods, drinks and history in her tour. It was a LOT of food but in small enough doses throughout the day that we left happy and sated.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!

What an incredible experience, hosted by the lovely Betsy. Betsy meets you in town and takes you on a wonderful food feast of the city. The knowledge she shares for the history of Oaxaca is insightful, with super friendly relaxed pace, it doesn't ever feel like hard work. We ate SO many different dishes throughout the day, all the things we wanted to taste on our trip but could never fit in our bellies in only 4 days...the best things is we got to try smaller portions of everything sharing in a group! A wonderful experience I would highly recommend. :)

Our tour of Oaxaca with Betsy was the highlight of our 10 day trip to Mexico. She’s not just an amazing tour guide, she’s someone we’d actually want to hang out with in real life - so cool, down to earth, kind, funny and incredibly knowledgeable about Oaxaca. The markets would have been difficult to navigate on our own but Betsy took us straight to the best spots - still dreaming about those mole negro tamales! We’ll definitely do another tour with Betsy when we return to Oaxaca (sooner rather than later, we hope!) and would recommend this as a can’t-miss activity for any visitor who loves good food and learning about the local culture and history.

With Oaxaca being known for its food we wanted to do a food tour to get a taste of the best local dishes. After doing some research we decided Me Encanta was the best option for us as it offered multiple tastings from many different market stalls, and we were not disappointed. Betsaida is so lovely and really wants everyone to enjoy themselves and Oaxaca. She explained all the food and was welcoming of additional questions. Overall this tour is a great thing to do on your first day in Oaxaca. Thank you!
