Beautiful boutique hotel. Imagine walking out to cobblestone streets with ancient aqueducts. Perfect location for walking to Santo Domingo Church plaza where shops, restaurants and bars surround it. The hotel service is impeccable. Very hospitable service. Very clean. Can’t say enough of the wonderful staff - Dulce, Alejandro, Emmanuel and Hugo. This is a very safe and quiet section of town but walking distance to bars, etc.

La Casa Carlota is my favorite place to stay in Oaxaca central!! I have stayed at some of the 5 star hotels and I can honestly say that my experience at Casa Carlota was better. Manuel, Hugo, Dulce, and all of the other staff (I didn’t get their names but they were great), made sure our stay was perfect. Also the location is excellent!! I will definitely be back.

Wonderful place to stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating and treat you like good friends. Dulce set us up with two different tours that were a lot of fun. Breakfast in the morning is great. Room was clean and comfortable. We stayed in Gloria and it was a large room with a king bed and private bathroom. The decor was beautiful and it has a really nice rooftop patio to enjoy. It’s a close walk to everything.

We’ll definitely stay here again when we return to Oaxaca.

Do not stay here. There is a construction site next door from 8am to 6pm - 6 days a week. It is a complete joke. I stayed for under an hour and couldn't even make a phone call or read a book as the builders were sledge hammering the next door room. Despite reassurance from the manager, I have still been charged a full 4 nights. Complete fraud. Do not stay here!

Worse place ever. Mis advertising. says the airport shuttle and breakfast is included. FALSE.
Google maps address is wrong too.
Very disappointed and very disappointing.
