Beautiful hotel hidden in a beautiful alley. Food was great and service was excellent! Thank you Dulce at reception and Jose at the bar for exceeding our expectations and going above and beyond to make our stay the most comfortable.

Beautiful accommodations, amazing staff, kind and friendly service, great and unique location that allows you to see the beautiful streets of Oaxaca, best ice cream I have tasted and a definite gem that I will return to.

The prior great reviews were well-founded, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Here were the highlights:

- Wonderful staff throughout, friendly, very helpful, and very good at their jobs.
- Lovely setting and very quiet, with beautiful plants and trees.
- Very comfortable suite with everything we could want, including very nice furnishings and decorations, and an excellent bathroom.
- Great location away from the bustle of the main town, but close enough to walk to the main city sites and some excellent restaurants.
- Secure locked garage parking for our rental car.
- Delicious breakfasts under the trees, with plenty of choices.

Really cozy hotel boutique. Few rooms. Clean and sanitized. The only con was that there was a party nearby during my stay which was loud. Otherwise service, food, rooms, and prices were great. I really recommend this place to stay in Oaxaca. It was not in the city center but very close walking (probably 10 minutes).

El Callejón is a gem in Oaxaca. STAY HERE!I It's beautiful, quiet, tasteful and lovely. The grounds are gorgeous. Most of all, the staff is incredible. They treat you like family and they seem like a family themselves. It's an oasis in Oaxaca.
