I love this hotel, it teleports me right back to my upbringing in the amazing 80’s. It reminds me of visiting my grandparents and I mean that in the best possible way. If you are 40 years or older go and visit this hotel, it’s like stepping back in time when lets face it life was better, much better.

The very spacious layout of the property with separate open plan buildings that have only 2 floors and closed of big balconies, the wide open stair cases, the spacious rooms (ask for a room on the 1st floor), the floor with old brown tiles, the yellow and purple paint, the old wooden furniture, the small cast iron chandeliers.

Please don’t change anything and get rid off the attempts to modernise the place like the solar white lights etc, keep the place original, don’t change the basics, fresh lick of paint and some minor repairs and market it like a genuine original 80’s hotel and I think you will have a massive opportunity on your hands.

Love it and hope to be back soon.

Good hotel. Nice pool. Great tennis courts. Reasonably priced food.
However... one room we stayed in was great. It was actually older. The airconditioner worked great. Where as the second time we booked, we got a junior sweet which was basically the same size as the room that we paid half for. Plus this room was remodeled but ac didn't cool the room so we couldn't sleep. Plus the water from the shower was spraying out the door.
I feel like they pretend the cheaper rooms are unavailable to try and get you to pay double for the expensive room.
Overall, ok hotel.

Rooms are very dingy, sheets and curtains have stains. Beware to those prone to dust allergies. Tv does not work. Rooms are dark and lighting is dim. Only 3 one unit outlets throughout the whole room. Only 1 one unit outlet between two beds. Common grounds of hotel are dark at night not enough light to feel safe. Noisy at 8 am. Hotel crew has been hammering and dropping metal pieces all morning long.

Only good thing is staff.

**This hotel has some rooms updated with a modern look and the others with the antique look I mentioned above.

Three stars. Because the room was overpriced I believe. It was very outdated, the pool was not clean and not sure if it was open, and it was very noisy with traffic, and not decorated as they show in the photos. But for the rest no complaints. Great shower, spacious room with balcony. Good beds and pillows.

Nice that we could park the motorbikes in the hallway so they were sheltered from the rain.

Two stars, and only because the room service was ok. In general, avoid this place at all cost. Me and my family booked this place for a week. Yes, it was a busy week (día de Los muertos) but they were extremely unprepared to handle the amount of booked guests. My room was not available when it was supposed to be (3:00pm), and they later wanted to change the type of room, which didn’t match our needs. I stayed room less for many hours more until the evening. On top of that, they gave me the key to an occupied room! I opened the door and the people inside where getting dressed up! Very disappointing. And the restaurant is lackluster to say the least.

The hotel is currently going through some updates. The room we stayed in was older, although the beds were super comfy, and it was immaculately cleaned. The pool bar employee was gone on vacation during my trip. The hotel was very accommodating in sending drinks and food to the pool for us. The food was great at the restaurant. And the service was spectacular. Excellent bartenders and wait staff. Definitely would stay again.

The night staff are rude and clueless. Turned up very late and they couldn’t find my booking despite me showing the confirmation. Spent a long time sorting when we were very tired.
Bed sheets were stained.
Everything very dated.
