I loved my stay here! I spent 15 days in Oaxaca, I ended up changing three different hotels and this was my favourite! I stayed here a week and it was perfect. The room was comfortable and quite. The attention, care and warmth of the staff and the owner made me feel right at home which was perfect for a solo traveler like me. I also liked staying in this part of town. Although the hotel is in a busy road (rooms face the courtyard-garden), it is close to some of the best roads and murals of Xochimilco; the Reforma's shopping centres and restaurants and, at the same time, walking distance to the Centro and all the art galleries.

Casa los Cantaros has a gorgeous entrance and a very traditional looking room which had a huge comfortable bed. The room we had could have fit 5 people easily. It is a little more than a 10 minute walk into the city center so the area is convenient. The staff are super nice and they easily booked tours, taxis for us without an issue.

Issue:
- Didn't realize but the hotel is located next to a school, so around 7am to about 9am it's like a recess war zone of kids playing and yelling etc... Maybe thicker windows could help here.

Other than that, I would recommend this place.

A lovely boutique hotel near Llano Park; close enough to Oaxaca centre to walk to all the usual sites.
