This hotel is very nice!! The lobby is modern and clean, the restaurant is delicious and fair in price, and the pool is maintained daily.
The rooms are a bit out dated. We stayed on the 4th floor facing the rear of the hotel, so the view was bad. But the room was very clean and housekeeping did an amazing job every day. The AC unit worked well, but was very noisy (caused me to wake up a few times at night) turns out it was the blades moving the air that caused all the noise, but I just turned off the "airflow" feature and the blades stay still. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are kind of small in size, but large enough for 1 person to change and get ready.
The location was a bit far from everything. Walking to downtown is about a 15-20min walk. In the sun, it feels like 1hr. Grabbing a taxi was not too bad here. The average price from the hotel to the city center is around $60-80 pesos. If it's $80 don't tip, they're charging too much. If it's $60 give around a $10 tip. Apparently they charge non tourists around $50 for the same ride. These are all pesos by the way. So it's about $3-6 usd.
Overall if you're looking for something away from the city but not too far, comfortable and quaint, this is the place.
