This lovely place decorated with warm vibrant colours in the spirit of Oaxaca is a gem. It's clean, and the owner and staff are warm friendly even with my limited Spanish.
My room was cleaned daily, bed linings and towels changed.

The casa is located in a quiet safe neigborhood, walking distance to Oaxaca historic center, which I enjoyed walking to everyday. And exploring the neighborhood

The barrio of Xochimilco has pretty street art, if you are into art, you can take a 2-3 minute walk to Jose Lopez Alvrez street. But art is all around you.

There is Mercado Zonal La Cascada a 10 minute-walk, where I bought my fruits and vegetables.

I spent 9 nights here and definitely recommend it.

Positive: Excellent location in a wonderful neighborhood perched slightly above the action. It was a quick and easy 10 min stroll to Santo Domingo, etc. I liked being a bit away from it all, it was peaceful. FABULOUS view from terrace, I watched the sunrise and enjoyed my morning coffee there every day. Tastefully decorated, quaint, and charming. Best of all is the shower: hot, hot water with FUERTE pressure--the BEST in all of MX!!! Also: Kitchenette provided autonomy to avoid eating out every meal. Be prepared to speak Spanish here.. Negative: I wish drinking water was readily provided (It is available during office hours if you ask for it, but the first night I was unprepared and was so thirsty all night. (And I had no water to make coffee early in a.m. until a store opened nearby). I also wish the basic cooking condiments of salt, pepper, and oil were provided as they have been in other places with kitchens. No traveler wants to buy these and schlep them around. Otherwise everything was TERRIFIC!!!! Thank you!.

The top floor room I was in was very new, big windows with views of the hills. The top floor rooms have a large terrace and a kitchenette. The staff was eager to provide what we needed. The neighborhood is above the center, more residential but still in walking distance.

Positive: It's a really nice place. Clean, nice rooms with character and a roof terrace. Noe, the owner, is super helpful. It's a little way from the centre. But its actually a really nice walk along the aqueduct and the area is quiet and residential which means you are in a local non-touristy area.. Negative: Nothing..

Positive: The owner was so helpful and accommodating! He helped me book a taxi for the entire night and helped me negotiate prices with the driver. I would definitely recommend staying with them..

Nice people, good privacy. Just a bit cold in winter. (The window in our room did not close well)
