We did not get the room we had booked, but a much smaller and dirty one with only basic facilities. Nevertheless, we were told at the reception that we had to pay the same price. We did not get a discount when we asked. Finally, after consulting the manager at 5pm, we were told to look for another hotel if we didn't like it. They would definitely not give us a discount, nor would they give us another room that would have corresponded to the booked standard. I have never experienced such impudence.

We did not get the room we had booked and as advertised on here, but a much smaller and dirty one with only basic facilities. Nevertheless, when we raised our concern at reception they could neither get us into that room category as they were "all booked out" but we also weren't offered a discount or any other means of compensation. Instead we were told to come back at 10am the next morning (we had booked 3 nights in total) and they would move us into the room we had booked.

When we returned in the afternoon, we were again told we couldn't get into the room we had booked as it was undergoing maintenance...?! (at this pint it seemed to us that they only have one of these "nice"/updated rooms for advertising purposes...) Finally, after finally consulting the manager at 5pm, we were told to look for another hotel if we didn't like it. They would definitely not give us a discount, nor would they give us another room that would have corresponded to the booked standard. I have never experienced such impudence, and we certainly no longer felt welcome so indeed we did find ourselves another accommodation, however we wasted one night in this pretty run down, isolated and unfriendly place with super hard beds, tears in the curtains, ironing marks on the floor and a shower which was near impossible to turn on and off...

i went for my 50th birthday, Sept. 2022. The property was beautiful for my photoshoot, the location was near all of the downtown excitement, Taxis were easy to get , the food was great day and evening. Our room had an amazing view, it was clean and what we needed for the week we were there. Most of all the fee was very fair and i was happy most spoke English. We will be going again and staying there!

Very old, it seems like it WAS a nice hotel but they never renewed the furniture or the ac units, or the bathrooms... (the mattress is not bad) My room smells bad, all the time, the coffee machine does not work, our room had no electricity for more than an hour, just our room and it took them fotever to fix the issue, the service is ok, after all the hotel being in a really bad shape is not the employees fault, not worth your money, don't stay here.

We stayed at this hotel as it was central to everything in Oaxaca. My husband had stayed here about three years ago. Some of the staff could speak English that helped me a lot. The staff at the restaurant- Ebanton, Mauricio, Iszrael u0026 few others that I can’t remember their names were very helpful. Ebanton always greeted us no matter whether he was taking care of our table. The housekeeping was excellent- she was very helpful with water bottles for us. The hotel itself wasn’t that up to date but the people in it were very kind u0026 hospitable. Thank you to the staff u0026 that is why I rated it 5- the people who work at the hotel. Cheers from a Canadian traveller ????????❤️????

We are expat locals and we went for cocktails at the bar. There's a beautiful view of Oaxaca. We ended up joining the pool Club.
