Great restaurant in a great location in Oaxaca. We tried the pozole, the marlin tacos, and the carnitas torta. They were all fantastic. Especially the tacos. Some of my favorite in all of Mexico. They were a special that day, so look out for them! Great margaritas too!

A great place to dine by the Santa Domingo Cathedral. The place is small and the service can be slow but the food is great. We ordered the Ceviche with Ash Sauce which was incredible and with a very different taste from the ordinary. The bite size tacos were great as well, all went well with some great mezcal. Will definitely return to try more or just repeat the ceviche.

Great experience and these guys were packed when we sat down. Would absolutely recommend the torta con carnitas, a margarita and the pozole.

Ok that was really delicious. Great service, tasty food, and a nice location. We actually stopped here twice on this trip to Oaxaca. The cochinita pibil to share was plenty for two of us with pozole and shrimp soup to start. The prices are very reasonable, too. A great find.

A great little restaurant serving amazing food! The vibe is great - you can sit at the communal table or on one of the others (it’s small, only about 6-7 tables). Overall a wonderful experience for dinner - would highly recommend!!

Across the street from Templo del Carmen Alto and its little Plazuela. The casual restaurant is tiny with maybe ten tables including a long communal one. We sat a a corner two-top across from the plazuela, with the wooden doors open to allow the breeze and light in. Really interesting artwork graced the walls. The young female staff serve up simple local cuisine. We had shrimp quesadilla, seafood cazuela, and carnitas torta. The seafood soup was the standout, being light and flavorful and quite soothing even on a warm afternoon.

Great food, and decor. I had shrimp and pulled pork tacos. The food is very rustic in a good way. The shrimp was grilled to the right texture. Pulled roast pork was okay, not bad but nothing special. Price is, for tourists, relatively cheap. There were 3 of us and each has a dish or two + 2 beers, and the total bill came to 600~. Can be busy 7pm onwards, but there is a bar in the same building so maybe you can a cocktail while you wait. Overall won’t disappoint you
