The best place to stay in Oaxaca so far! What I like is the cleanliness, the position and the fact the Hostal is very well organised. But most of all, I met amazing people working there, always ready to help you and very friendly. Highly recommended

Staff - great
Comfort - great

'Mens' dorm with completely no ventilation is a disturbing. Dark, no possible window to open and there is a shower and toilet inside with no ducted fan. It stank and felt dirty.

Staff were lovely and super friendly. Breakfast is delicious (eggs are done nicely!)

Great location!!

The staff take a lot of pride and keep the place extremely clean, bed was made and towel was included which was very nice, almost as a hotel! Kitchen is well equipped and bathrooms are also very nice.

Only reason I left in the end was that my dorm was a little bit hot and stuffy.

Terrace has lovely views of the town and sunset!

Nice chill hostel with a local friendly vibe. Small and very relaxed vibe. Not a party hostel. You can sleep well. The cleaning people are nice. Front desk staff are nice. Location is great. The private rooms are so cheap for what you get. I was trying to leave Oaxaca sooner but couldn't because of how comfortable these rooms were.

I love this hostel. The staff is very engaged and friendly the beds are very comfortable and everything is cleaned daily. The location is perfect and the rooms have a shower toilet and sinks.

towels were old u0026 grey, pillowcases smell bad and not comfortable at all, shower water temperature changes so quick after 5 min stayed cold!
Don’t don’t drop of laundry our clothes all ruined we had to throw it.
I don’t suggest this place just pay little bit more get better hotel. Oaxaca city has a lot of option.

This place can't manage their own bookings. Booked two months in advance and upon arrival they told me it was fully booked. After some discussion they realized that my booking was actually there, but were initially only offering me one night. I eventually got both booked nights, but another guy got turned away despite having a booking as well. They didn't want to loose face and did not apologize once. Generally rude staff.

About the rooms: the bed was good but the sink is inside the dorm room which is kind of disturbing.
