Omg the Tlayudas was so good! And the cochinita pibil tacos were incredible. There were two sauces that came with them. The one for the Tlayuda was an oil based sauce that reminded me of Chinese chili oil. Too good!!!!!

I decided to give this palce a try, since it's nearby. I purchased the tlayuda combinada, keep in mind there's tons of places in Oaxaca selling delicious talyudas, but what sets this apart to the others is their seasoning and salsa. The habnero salsa has a light kick of spiciness to it, making it worthy to try... that's if your into spicy food. Furthermore their service was fast and respectful, even the people around dining were so polite.

Stumbled upon this when we couldn’t get into another restaurant and are SUPER happy we did. First night in Oaxaca and the owner was super friendly and patient, answered all questions. The Tlayuda con Chileajo was the favorite! Far less touristy and ritzy which was really nice.
Enjoy!!

had an awesome late dinner here one night. service was great, food was really tasty, and for $80mxn i got a tlayuda con tasajo. beer was $25mxn.
it’s as good as 20 de Nov stands and the famous spot across town but this place is a bit more central and easy to get to from most hotels.
service was friendly and it’s a great sit down option for what is basically a street food stand! definitely recommend checking out for a quick bite to share or in between mezcal hopping.

Great place for authentic tlayudas. Expect to see a flock of locals living their best lives.

Best Tlayudas I’ve had in Oaxaca - seasoning is on point, chorizo is amazing and the habanero salsa just makes everything better. I usually share one Tlayuda w my boyfriend, really tempted to eat all on my own lol

It is honestly the best "Tlayuda" we tried so far(we had the beef and chorizo one), not to undermined the "Tostada con la cochinita pibil". The dishes have that little touch which makes them unique as the location where they are served, a very traditional and welcoming restaurant thanks also to the people working in it.
