Horrible place! DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE A TOURIST, YOU WILL GET ROBBED AND MANAGEMENT IS INVOLVED! I was there with my girlfriend this passed weekend and while I was at the bathroom she had her phone stolen out of her hand while being distracted by two different groups.. When I went up to security and the manager nobody seemed to care or offer any help… I left my phone number ONLY with the bartender just in case someone turned it up.. a few days later I get a call from someone prentending to be Apple to try and unlock my girlfriends phone… only person I gave out my number to was the bartender.. Thank god phone was reported stolen and they can’t do anything with it :). STAY AWAY, HORRIBLE PLACE WITH HORRIBLE SERVICE.

Avoid the craft beer bar at all costs: teufel cervaceria.

Serious scam - no menu with prices - so you end up paying the equivalent of 7 euros for 180 ml of mediocre craft beer.

Plus the bartender was as terrible at pouring beer as she was duplicitous with pricing. Not a very nice person either, with all the manners of an outhouse rat.

Very nice bar, all different kinds of music and fair prices! You get strong mixdrinks and beer is cheap. Nice vibe here!

I've been in Oaxaca for two months and have frequented Txalaparta quite a bit while here. The staff is incredibly helpful and the "vibe" is superb. Txalaparta is my favorite watering hole here by far. The upstairs patio is great and most of the live music and DJs are as well. There's a good mix of locals and foreigners, too.

I went with my bois on a Monday and Tuesday night and the DJ was terrible. If you want to get depressed fast, go here. Worst music. Good amount of people but no vibe. Drinks are cheap but nothing can happen when the music is horrendous-Lou Dog
