NIGHTMARE Hostel!!
Stay away from this absurd and horrible hostel! Rude staff who do not control the peace at night as they themselves are loud. Couldn't sleep due to being disturbed even 4am still noisy. No card facilities to pay because apparently "this is Oaxaca!", so have to pay cash but they don't have any change. Even the Oaxacan supermarkets you can pay by card. The facilities are quite bare u0026 lacking, hot water sucks! The staff sleep in the same dorm room as guests. No hospitality at all, just a dodgy place! Couldn't wait to leave this scary mental hostel...Stay away if I were you.

it’s a budget hostel and one of the cheapest in Oaxaca so read this review with that in mind. it’s location is very good and central, and the housekeeping works hard to keep it clean. But you get what you pay for. The facilities are bad/ok at best. 1 power outlet in a dorm for 10 people. WiFi so slow it was often unusable. Dorm was sweltering hot at night, no curtains on beds, mattresses as you’d expect. “Terrace” was a roof with some planks. Hot water occasionally doesn’t work and at one point the running water seemed to go out completely. Toilets often dont flush fully. My wallet got stolen out of my bag here. obviously there is absolutely nothing the hostel can do about that but it gives you an idea of the vibe. Staff are hit or miss, some were nice but frankly some were a bit rude. And it is LOUD every single night til 1, 2 am. Location is good and it’s cheap but I would recommend spending a few more pesos and booking elsewhere

Worst experience in 4 years of travelling the world and staying at many hostels. I was lucky that some guy opened the door but once I was inside I was ignored. When I asked how I can check in, they got annoyed! I was told that this is not a hostel but a home and that I can leave if I don't like it. So I did. Somehow I didn't feel at home ????

Only reason it gets 2 stars is because there where some nice people and nice beds here. But the owners stayed up all night playi g loud. Usiv so I struggled to sleep. They didnt even give me a cover... A d the breakfast I paid for... Non exsistant. Probably because the owners were too hung over to make it.

So-so but okay for the price. Cold ambiance that feel like a funeral home, and the couple running the place got awful musical choices for a full-day soundtrack, but at least they stop the music at around11 PM. White tiles deco doesn't make it for a very pleasant atmosphere,especily for how it amplifies the noise. Tiny common kitchen.

Positive: Breakfast is basic but super good. Rooms, kitchen, shared areas and facilities are clean and spacious. The staff was nice and helpful, especially SU! She's so cool! She gave me great explanations and tricks for tours and rides! I enjoyed my stay! Also a safe and great location. I also liked to have a key to feel free to come and go without disturbing anyone :). Negative: Mosquitoes! You need to leave the windows open in the dorm cauz it's super hot in there. No fan no A/C. There was 2 bathrooms only since the other one in the hallway was closed the 4 days I was there. 1 in my dorm and a toilet only downstairs. That's the only thing, otherwise I really liked the place!.

The place is not so bad, but the mattress and pillows were all bumpy and ugly. The bed felt like it was broken and we had a terrible sleep because of that. Some drunk people came up at night and tried to enter to our room thinking it was the shared bathroom. It has a kitchen and it’s a chill place to be, but we found it a bit expensive for what we got. The area doesn’t seem to be safe to park a car either, cause it seems that other guests have gotten their windows smashed and things stolen from them, which is not fault of the star, but it’s one thing to consider if you have a car.
