We stayed at the hotel next door and I went to Balcon de le lechuza 3 times in 4 days, I was addicted. Service is fast, no frills family-run. Food was always fresh, simple, tasty. Carne and cheese tacos and tortas both great, rojo and verde salsa were good, verde tasted very different than other places in town. The frijoles charros were a suprise hit too, so good!

Food was really good. Service was quick. Open late. If you're a tourist, try tacos with cheese. Oaxaca is known for their cheese and it rarely comes on tacos.

Some of the best tacos I had in our month-long stay in Oaxaca. I also highly recommend the tostadas. DO NOT miss the salsa!

Great for what it is, which is a straightforward taqueria (with an owl theme for some reason) specializing in Arabic-style tacos (think shawarma). On that criteria, it is superb. If you're looking for more, you'll be disappointed.

Traditional tacos árabes in Oaxaca, the meat is tasty, the best taco to try is árabe with cheese. Service is fast.
