The coffee is excellent and the food is very delicious. It is very healthy too. There also a lot of home baked pastries that are really delicious. They also have frappes - I love the moka one. You can see the beautiful salads and fruit to go. I love the people who work there. They are so friendly. I was visiting Oaxaca on the first day they opened a few years ago. They remember me every time I return to Oaxaca. So friendly. Muy amable.

Lovely staff and owner. Best mango smoothie in town!
Also strawberry or blackberry, you can choose to have it water or milk based.

They recently changed to a smaller place next to where they were before and now do not have places to sit so it is all takeaway.

Cosy small place with three small tables. Tranquil atmosphere and good aromas coming from the owen. 5 min from Santo Domingo. Friendly staff but prizy - 32 pesos for a grand americano, hefty pay in the area.

Best coffee that I’ve found in Oaxaca so far...but you have to ask for 2 shots if you’re ordering a grande americano. Surprisingly it’s very hard to find good coffee here. All of the coffee shops I’ve been to are only just OK. The coffee at this place is amazing. Staff is friendly. Very small u0026 they get busy so just be patient and chill.

The menu looked great, but they are not a vegan cafe as they only offer lactose free milk. They kindly pointed us to cafe Mondo which offers almond and coconut milk.

Cute place . Had a good oatmeal cookie and tea. Staff wasn't overly friendly. Although it says they open at 7 I have gone twice around 7:30-7:45 and they still haven't opened or say they don't have service yet.

Alma de Cafe IS cute, and charming, but if you're looking for food or coffee, it's best to look elsewhere.I had two "large" lattes yesterday and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll bordered on bland: un-cinnamony, un-sweet, and just rather ... plain!!! Boring, even. The coffee, likewise is very, very middle-of-the-road. (Lattes are FAR better (!) at both AM Siempre Cafe and Cafe Blason, and cheaper!) My large latte--which wasn't that large, actually--was 42 pesos. That's a HEFTY price in Oaxaca. ($2.21 at today's exchange rate.) If you're going to charge a premium price, then you have to provide a premium coffee, right?!? I was very disappointed. And I won't be returning. (Lattes at AM Siempre are 30 pesos, by comparison--for something about the same size--and even less at Cafe Blason, and both are very, very, very good.)
