Dont waste your time and money by coming to eat at this place. It’s pretentious, obnoxious and not worth the money.
Our experience here was more bizarre than anything else.
The decor is rather tacky and for some inexplicable reason there’s a massive motion activated glass door separating two rooms which keeps swooshing open and shut. A bit annoying if you’re sitting close to it.
The music (90s club classics?) is way too loud.
A guy wearing a fez pushes a trolley to your table offering some strong Arabic coffee at any random time during your meal (this happened twice). And a girl in a samba outfit walked around aimlessly while the waiters shimmy to the club classics.
Halfway through our main course they came up to our table and asked us to move as they had to accommodate a larger party. Luckily they allowed us to finish our main we just had to duck the chairs they were carrying in.
The food was average and not worth the price.
With so many great places in Mexico don’t waste your time with Villa Azur.
