It was a pleasure to stay at this beautiful hotel for 3 nights. It deserves 5 stars for many reasons. This is a shining example of Hilton moving into the boutique hotel space and doing it well. Here’s some reasons why we loved it…
- Location - you’re right in the centre of Mexico City so it’s perfect! A little noisy with traffic at night but nothing that stopped us sleeping.
- The building is lovely to walk around and gives way to its past whilst being modern.
- The rooms - we stayed in a suite that was spacious, modern and decorated beautifully.
- The service was perfect and consistent, from reception and porters to the bar/restaurant team every single day. Nothing is too much and every request ended with ‘it’s a pleasure’
- Breakfast - we often go out for breakfast when staying in a chain hotel but the offering here was local, substantial and lovely. Having breakfast on the sun terrace with freshly squeezed juices, fresh fruit, cooked eggs and baked breads was wonderful.
- There’s a small gym and pool too, so you have everything you need for a great stay.
- HH status was recognised and appreciated, with a little bag of snacks waiting in the room for us.
We couldn’t find anything we would improve and would stay here again, as well as looking out for other Curio collection hotels.
Well done to the hotel team!
