MIXED FEELINGS.
So the place es under renovation, but it was equally nice the terrace that is the temporary main hall. The waitress at the beginning was kind of making faces at asking to take a different table than the one they wanted to give me. Also made faces at me asking for a certain mineral water (not the expensive type), and made faces when we told her we did not eat any pork , so to please take away the prosciutto that came in a plate, compliments of the restaurant.

For our luck, she left, and another waiter took over, very friendly staff. Captain Victor was amazing, and so was our waiters Luis and Javier, all of whom served us. The barman was also very friendly.

The Nostra Famiglia pasta was spectacular, the risotto fungi and tartuffo did not taste like truffle oil, so we asked for more to be added. The salmon pizza was very good, yet we asked for the to change the goat cheese and add another, and thought it was not professional of them to add an extra charge for a cheese that is not cheap to be replaced for a similar price cheese. But I guess the chef did not care to have happy customers. The chef in turn was Eduardo, I know because we called him out to congratulate him for the amazing cheese paste, that the waiter prepared for us (by the way, we were told that the chef changed the liquor added to the Nostra Famiglia pasta, instead of Contreau, now white wine is added.....I guess it's fine, yet it needs more white wine to leave an after taste in the sauce). Food is great, yet details make you have mixed feelings. The restaurant is very expensive for what you get.

The chocolate cake was just okay, did not love it.....the chocolate cake the restaurant Entre Fuegos (next door and from the same group) has is really amazing.

I went for breakfast. The venue is really nice and cozy, you can sit inside or at the terrace. The only con is that they have TVs which I thought was annoying although they were muted, the place is kind of elegant itself so that ruined the charm. Service was good, not too pushy. Relatively fast except when waiting for the main dishes. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was good. The pastries were tasty, refill coffee was really good. I had the croque madame (without meat) and I thought it lacked a cheese sauce like the original recipe as it was dry and only one egg was included. The cazuela eggs with salsa, cheese, and baked bread were tastier. Prices are ok. Overall a good option for breakfast. They don’t have self parking so it is mandatory to leave the car at the valet.

Great service, very friendly.
I thought menu was limited. Did not see some regular Italian dishes.
Food was good. A little loud for my taste. They had 80's music playing the whole time, somewhat loud I thought and I like 80's music.

Its about 2 months old.... its ok italian food... nor impresive... watch out the natural water they offer you if you do not clarify that you want regular filtered tap water...they will charge you for a bottled water... yes.. the one that most restaurants give u for free from a jug or so...then manager asked me if i wanted the water removed from my bill... poorly managed situation

As usual you pay for what you get. One of the BEST Italian in the city. Terrific service but they will charge you extra for that. The parking charge is specially stupid but some people are just greedy.
