Mexico City Hostel

We were more than happy with our stay. Was our first time in Mexico city, and location was good for helping us get to know the city. We stayed in a big private room with owen bathroom. It was simple, clean and tidy. No air con, had fans, room was cool enough.
A really lovely hostel. We arrived at 4am, so booked the room the night before so we could check in when arrived, so wasn't waiting around all day after a long flight. Place felt safe and secure. Really couldn't ask for more for a hotel. They do have lockers which where handy (need own lock). We did not eat or cook there but facilities looked reasonable. If I wanted to be in that area of city again, would definitely use again.

Great quality hostel in an unbeatable location in the heart of Mexico City's historical centre.

Very spacious and clean rooms, bathrooms and showers cleaned regularly and well maintained.
Staff are very friendly, and fluent in English in case your Spanish is a little rusty.

The hostel is central and can easily be reached from the airport. Lots of security in the area around the hostel, felt very safe.

Clean hostel, great location. Would be nice to have shower gel and shampoo in the bathrooms. Toilets and showers are a bit confusing to find and maybe a bit far from your room. Well equipped kitchen but still not big enough for many guests

For the price it is a very decent hostel. Great kitchen u0026 super clean everywhere. Excellent location.

It is rather big so it is not the best place to make friendship ~

Stayed from March 18th thru the 24th in a 4 bed dorm. I had it to myself most of the time I stayed 7 out of 7 days there was another guest in the room only 2 of those days ????.You get what you pay for usually but here you get more. Great location secure with good lockers and clean plus the front desk and staff were awesome! There's a oxxo right next door and a 5 ????restaurant 2 doors away. The street food 2 blocks away at Plaza Santo Domingo was gr8 and not expensive. When we got there everybody told us to be extremely careful with insecurity in Mexico, but we never felt like that, there was police officers in every corner of downtown.
The hostel was nice and close to everything, all the history, the cathedral, so many good restaurants around it, I definitely recommend this place. People were so charming at the front desk and willing to help.

I've stayed at hostel for about 5 times.
There are 2 hostels with same name u0026 just across from each other,
Republica de Brasil #8
República de Brasil #11
I've Stayed at both but prefer the smaller one #8 or if you order a 6 beds bedroom or under you'll be staying at the smaller one, 8 beds and over will be at #11.
Both provide great service, very safe, clean. I've stayed at the private rooms mostly u0026 that is my experience.
Free breakfast, Wi-Fi, friendly staff a challenging if ur Spanish is limited but hey ur here to enjoy the adventure u0026 learn a bit of Español.
Very close to everything, you won't be disappointed and the price is just right.
