Excellent food and fast service. Feels like old Mexico. Clean and friendly. Close to the center of the city.

Very carefull with the first floor. Nice view and very friendly for catch you and then the bill with stupid charges almost twice the price. Very sad to see this bandidos destroying the good place. In General all this people offering good biew and food with drinks. Better avoid or take a beer and go.

This place has horrible service for foreigners.
Save your money and do NOT come here.
From the moment I walked in, I was treated horribly.
They sat me in a dirty table, the table had spilled water all over the floor, there were dirty trays next to my table... that were not picked up. When I asked the waiter who his manager is, he sent me to the bus boy saying that he was his manager...that was lie. The bus boy also stated he was the manager...clearly he was not...when I demanded the manager he sarcastically said there is no one, that the manager is a busy guy. Never felt so disrespected.
Even when the waiter took my order "steak plate" he got really nasty toned with me, when I told him I did not understand ... the quality of steak levels he was stating to me.

Traditional style restaurant with both Mexican and western style food. I went for breakfast when they give complimentary coffee and bread with your meal. Staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is very calm.
It’s not the cheapest place you can eat on Mexico City, but you definitely get your value for your money.

Incredibly owner/operator does not take full advantage of this place prime location. Seems as they prefer to do the opposite, low or lack of customer service, rude staff behavior, few offerings when choosing buffet option.
Our waiter had our orders mixed up, our party opted for a mix of 4 buffet and two menu orders. Waiter gave a menu order to my son who was already eating from the buffet and said that my son had ordered that, which was a lie. Waiter behavior felt pushy, not a few minutes will go by without him interrupting our private time.
Girl cooking goodies at the buffet area was really unkind, would take our orders with an unwelcome look on her face. Since place was not really busy, waiters would be flirting with her while I was there ready to order and they wouldn't care.
To top it all off, when we were getting ready to leave and still around our table the waiter reached for his tip, already on the table. He counted the amount and almost screaming to make sure we would hear he said, don't you guys want to leave a 10% tip? to which I answered, we are tipping what we think is proper for the service provided, his face showed anger.
Later I explained to my party that the tip given was more than the 10% he unwelcomely requested, 2 menu orders totaled about 250.00 pesos , 50 pesos tip u003d 20 % tip. Buffet price already factors in cost for people providing service.
There are better dining options, just walk around the area, something we should have done. But, since it looked nice from outside and we wanted to try a new place we decided to give it a try.
My review is mostly on service received. Food? There are better places! Outside metro station Taco stand would have been better!

we passed through here last night. the staff is very accomodating to us as foreigners. the food was excellent. the ambiance was awesome. we felt as if we were at home at this bar, feeling comfortable to talk loud and have a good cold beer. i strongly recommend this bar to foreigners.

Decent atmosphere, great service, reasonable prices, I really enjoyed my meal. It’s quite difficult to be vegetarian in Mexico, but I had soup, salad, guacamole, beer and a coffee for just over Ps300. I don’t understand other reviewers complaining that the staff don’t speak English: you’re in Mexico, Spanish is their common language, learn the basics at least!! And use Google translate.
