Bed bugs land! The only advantage is the location but you can find many hostel for the same price and better! The kitchen is really dirty and the rooms are full of bed bugs (I leave during the night with a really bad customer service and other clients ask for a refund. But the manager didn't want to make a full refund because they "have fee on booking"). But when you offer a service for a price you should give it to the client. I don't think they will pay if a restaurant offer them food with insect, this is the same for a bed!!! Just run out of this place, you can find so many other good hostel clean!

I guess this awful hostel bought all the false reviews here around.
This is so far the worst experience I got in Mexico travelling here during 5 months and probably worldwide. It's a shame.
And a scam, a total fraude.
The rooms absolutely don't look like the pictures in the net and got mixed with other hostels in the Centro Historico (much nicer, very smart guys!!). It's like prison's cells, no light, inexistent mattress, really dirty all around, starting from the walls, the floor, the bed. You simply feel sad walking around there.
And the policy is really bad, no respect for the customer.
Never again. I warn everybody around cdmx, there's so much better for better price or less. Please don't think this is normal here, don't accept such a treatment !!

Pretty average. They have a lot of plugs in the beds and inside the locker, so that's good. You also get privacy as they have curtains around each bed. The bathroom is cleaned but constantly smells, and the mattress is made of stone.

Three storey dorms with not enough space to even sit straight in bed. Very noisy, especially during weekends as their ventilation system is simply windows open wide. Little blanket they give was not sufficient for me or my friend as during night it cools down quite a bit. Ah and kitchen on the rooftop too is very noisy from street and very very hot during the day

Great location and friendly staff. The facilities are clean as well. But I didn't like that they were charging guests different rates and charge differently from what is advertised on Hostelworld and on their website. They also accept families with very young children. No social hostel vibe as well. Only good for sleeping in and very short stays.

Very approachable location as it is located at a walking distance to the Metro station. This hostal itself is located in the middle of historic tourist place. Staff is very welcoming and cooperative. Reception is open 24 hours and their main advantage is that staff can speak good English, which is very helpful for non-Spanish speaking tourists. Rooms are small but very clean. It is a very good deal for backpackers or Budget travelers. Wifi is also available and works fine.

5 star cleanliness 5 star service. Friendly, helpful staff. Cleaners were doing a real job everyday in there. No spot cleans. Even with the dodgy sewers of Mexico City they made it shine in those bathrooms. Terrace on top has cool views down the street and to a rooftop bar. Crawling distance to Zocalo and handy to metro stops. So easy to get anywhere and metro is so efficient. Never felt unsafe on it btw. Best location.
This place is rustic and ramshackle in a Mexican way but they make the best of the basic facilities they have! They have a kitchen and will do a load of laundry for 60 pesos.
Take earplugs if you're a light sleeper, the walls are paper thin.
