Wow! A wonderful experience into the downtown nightlife! Don't go in expecting a professional performance, but it is highly entertaining if you allow yourself to enjoy the atmosphere. Highly recommend making a reservation as I went on a Saturday night and there was only one table available for walk-ins. Turns into a dance party after the show!

La Perla has Mexico City's most famous drag show. You have to arrive early because place gets packed and the phones you find online to make a reservation are either incorrect or have been disconnected since forever. I suggest arriving around 9:30pm (first show is around 11:00pm). Place only takes cash and beer is only sold in "caguama" (32oz/910ml presentation). Show is great and the music played afterwards is great to dance.

Rene asked us to give him 200 pesos to be alllowed to enter (bribe) despite the place wasnt full. The doormen were very rude and stuck up

Cozy cabaret with nightly drags show. Fun and cheap.

Not recommended for homophobic public.
