Nice traditional basic place with a vintage atmosphere, a bit pleasantly decadent. Servants do the best to serve you. In a globalised world of fake things, this place can offer honest prices for cervezas de barril y "birria de res platos". Very recommended. Note: they close too early for my tastes, and anyway earlier than is written here.

Old school cantina in el centro histórico. A bit of a dive. Prices are excellent.

In general, this is a pleasant place to have some cold beer on tap while you're walking around downtown Mexico City, but during this particular visit, our waitress was bored and on her phone the whole time. We had to get up from our table and call her over twice. She never offered us botanas until after we paid our bill. To top it off, she gave us a receipt for one round of drinks, yet told us the amount was double what the receipt showed. She didn't try to screw us, but she was obviously trying to screw her employer. This is exactly what the sign above the bar warns you about. I recommend this bar ‐- just make sure the receipt shows the exact amount you owe.

This place is great! But it gets crowded. You may not be able to find a table. But belly up to the bar. The only trick there is for a bar order you have to order through the tiny cashiers window near the front door. Look for the cute waitress. She's great and speaks good English.

The place is dark, and not enough space. If you are looking for somewhere to drink, and you don't care about the place, this could be your option
