Rooms are kinda small, to the point where the entrance door only opens halfways before being blocked by the bed, the beds are uncomfortable and the hot water takes up to 5 minutes to start flowing from the shower. On the bright side the prices are low in comparison to other hotels nearby, and the location is very convenient to visit nearby tourist spots with public security avobe average in comparison to the rats nest that is mexico city.

I found the hotel on Calle Allende across from the Mexican State Assembly (hence the name). The room is $20 (in 2007) as a single and very neat and clean, though small. There is a fully tiled bath with shower. Even the ceiling is tiled. The room has a locking closet and is close enough to the cathedral and the zocalo. I had left my van in Teotihuacan then took the bus and Metro to get here.

Good place, very clean just one issue with the toillet but could be fixed... Cost is accesible
