Sweet little hotel in some ways but we cut our week's stay short as soon as we could find a vacancy elsewhere. Two reasons: the quiet room we'd requested was tiny, dark, and uncomfortable (details below - beware room 10!) and the front desk staff were unconcerned with our comfort and the hotel's reputation.
A few of the problems we encountered: about 4 in. clearance between the bed and the walls on either side, a top sheet consisting of two overlapping narrow sheets that of course promptly became tangled, no bathroom counter but a tiny glass shelf that drooped about 5°, repeatedly shedding its contents, and a party Saturday night at 1 a.m. in the patio our sole small window opened onto, waking us up; the front desk said "we'll ask" then "nothing we can do," but when one of us went out (in bathrobe) to speak to the partiers they moved indoors without protest.
