This time I visit La bodeguera del medio in Roma neighborhood with a friend from the Netherlands. He just loved it !

The food was nice, tasty Cuban authentic flavors from the coffee to the mojitos.

My favorite part as always is the love Cuban music ???? ????????????????????????????????????

Mojitos were OK. Food was OK. The best dish was the ropa vieja, except we were not told it was served with no sides. So we had to pay extra for the traditional sides of rice, beans and maduros. Same thing with the Vaca frita which was more like a thin steak fried crispy. The house special pollo a la Cubana was decent and it did come complete with maduros, rice and black beans.

The place and the music is fantastic. Food was great. I tried Pollo Cubano, the special. The portion was large, can’t finish by myself. Pollo Cubano was 266 MXN, a cerveza was 59 MXN.

Love the feel! Awesome bar area. Great service and there was live music when we were there. Food was delicious we mostly ordered appetizers but everything was delicious. Must have a mojito when you come. We ordered the strawberry one. NY second one I asked with out the sweetener. Valet parking available if you can't find street parking (which is hard to find)

The food was great, but the service was kind of trash. Our server didn’t give us any attention. When we were seated we weren’t given a menu and were asked if we wanted mojitos without knowing the other options first. Every time we were ready to order or ask for anything we had to call him over. He seemed disinterested to help us.

This is a beautiful bar with a great ambience and a real feel of tradition and history. Most of the staff were really kind and friendly too. The disappointment for me was the mojito, I could not taste any rum in it at all, I was convinced it had no rum in it, my partner thought the same. Muy débil! Which was disappointing as I was expecting to have the best mojito of my life! My partner's cocktail was better, you could taste the alcohol ;)
