Really solid hostel. Only major complaint would be the loud doors and lack of fans. Cigarette smoke would waft up into the private rooms in the evening if you kept the window open. The doors would swing shut at all hours, echoing throughout the entire building. A "soft-close" style of hinge would completely fix the problem.

I don’t understand how this place has so many positive reviews cause the rooms look like prison rooms but maybe it compensates with the price. We checked in and immediately checked out. The dorm smelled bad and it looked bad also. Maybe it just wasn’t the fit for us. The staff was nice to give us a refund but if you want a nicer stay in cdmx prefer another hostel.

The Hostel is in a good, central location in walking distance to the city center, street food and public transport. Breakfast is tasty and the ladys preparing the food are super friendly. The outdoor terrace is chill although the community areas are rather small and really packed during breakfast.

However, these positive aspects do not compensate for the sleepless nights due to the incredible noise. Honestly, this is probably the loudest hostel I have ever been to. The doors are frequently loudly shut during the entire night, the walls are so thin that you can hear every single word of people sitting on the terrace or talking in the hallway, the café next door woul play really loud music and the bass creates a club atmosphere in your room and people would return shouting loudly between 3 and 5 am in the night.
So, unless you don't mind sleepless nights I would not recommend this hostel.

Nice, sociable hostel. Some dorms are better than others though.

First one we stayed in didn't have many plug sockets and you could only turn on power in the room by inserting your room card (which they only gave us 1). The room cards are really fiddly and don't really work very well, and they also open every other room in the hostel which is a bit of a safety risk.

The breakfast is free and varies a little each morning.

The Xochimilco tour was good and the guide Coral was very helpful, it was a bit expensive but good to go in a big group. The detour to visit the market was a bit pointless and we all agreed it could be scrapped.

We didn't do the Lucha Libre tour and I wouldn't recommend it, since it is 500MXN and you can just buy a ticket on the door for 100MXN.

Lastly, the WiFi didn't work in either of the rooms we stayed in, this was a big inconvenience.

The reception staff were super helpful and helped me print off and scan documents as well as give lots of great tips.

Noisy, dirty, no wifi (blamed on the hostel being completely booked), unhelpful and even suspicious?? service. Seems to really just be a party hostel catering to people too drunk to be kept up by the terrible noise. Quiet hours are supposedly after midnight but noise goes till 1:30. Cockroaches in room. My girlfriend and I immediately left after the first night to go somewhere less abysmal.

A place to meet western people. Free breakfast. Amazing staff that become friends. Not a place to skip. Facilities are small so interactions happen but in general, very busy so book early so you aren't kicked out by another booking in the morning.

I left to meet more Mexicans...because this is México...

Highly recommend this hostel if you are staying in CDMX. The rooms are clean , they have alot of activities listed to help guide your stay, they are flexible when it comes to extending days. The 2 terraces are designed beautifully and it is very social. Nacho the manager was great he did most of the activities. Only problem I encountered was maybe the water was sometimes not running but I don’t think this is a common problem.
