So glad I made reservations here! Amazing cocktails and food. We ordered the sliders, shrimp tacos and guacamole/grasshopper appetizer and they were all delicious. Way too much food for us because portions were huge. We’ll worry the cost. I had multiple cocktails and they were all delicious. Hookah was good but a bit too minty for my normal taste. Good quality and smoke though. I’d likely order without mint next time. Staff was super friendly and attentive. We never waited for service even when they got busy. I’ll visit again next time I visit CDMX. Highly recommended!

Great drinks, food, service, and fun atmosphere! Angel was our bartender and took care of us. My husband u0026 I went out for a quick night cap u0026 ended up here, we would 100% come back!

Awesome place! What makes this place awesome is the atmosphere and the ambiance. The food is good and they have some delicious items on the menu. The reason for the 4 star over 5 start is that the service is not 100% customer focused and not the typical service you get in Mexico. Service is a little messy, all over the place and the customer is not their priority per say…probably comes with their popularity which is a little annoying and stand offish…but it’s cool to go for a drink nonetheless. They could definitely do much better on the service and be more customer centric/attentive. This might sound odd but the Volcán de Queso dessert was SPECTACULAR!

I highly recommend!!!

The 3 star rating is due to the service is pretty sloppy, unprofessional not attentive. It’s quite frustrating. Not sure why they don’t work on improving the level of customer service.

GinGin is one of the most popular bars in Mexico City. I’d give 5stars for the decor. skull-bones inspired interiors welcome you through a dark passage leading you to the main space. Consistent with the entrance, the dinning space is dark with a disco/bar guide but you can still dine from their full menu.

Gin creations (obviously) dominate their spirits and cocktails menu but you can still find other loca and imported spirits (not as varied). The cocktails were ok, but not amazing.

My main suggestion would be to adjust the music volume. From the time we arrived at 8 pm, the music was loud as you would expect in a disco (although there was no dance floor) making it almost impossible to talk.

Good place, good vibe, good food and drinks. Not cheap but not excessive. I would say at least around 500 per person for a good time.

Ambiance is great for a date night, music is a lot of fun too! The watermelon gin drink was also delicious
