Very good location in Mexico City. This restaurant is the best in Mexico City. The chef Mr. Asai used to serve the business class meal in ANA bound for Tokyo, All Nippon Airways.
The food are quite nice and it is used the seasonal ingredients. In summer or autumn, Matsutake Mushroom can be enjoyed. This is one of the most expensive food in Japan.

Stunning food as I said to the staff this was my best Japanese ever. Fresh fish, authentic vibes. Just a bit expensive but given the experience you’ll get it’s worth it.

Delicious authentic Japanese food. Having lived in Tokyo for seven years this was an absolute treat. Very high class experience

Small Japanese restaurant just off Lincoln Park. You enter through a very modern, industrial setting taking the stairs to the first floor. They have about 8 seats at the bar and 2 small tables. They offer a full Japanese menu including 2 omakase sets. I had one of the omakase sets which was very good. They even offered me a second piece of Toro after I commented how good it was. Presentation is not up to Tokyo standards but quality is excellent.

Completely fell in love with this place. Located in the heart of Polanco, this Kaiseki restaurant is owned and operated by a true Japanese national. The feeling of the restaurant is like walking in to a true Tokyo-like restaurant. The menu is quite extensive and with a big variety. Aside from the Kaiseki option, there are 2 omakase menus as well as a la carte dinning. Prices are a bit on the pricey side however the quality of the food is well above its competitors. Being a fan of Japan and it’s cuisine I definitely recommend this place as a go to for traditional meal. Can’t wait to be back!

Authentic Japanese restaurant.
I couldn't think about to have a authentic Japanese dinner in Mexico city.

It was great experience in polanco.
Tasty food, beautiful presentation and perfect staffs. Also waitress told us some of artistic dishes are made in Mexico.

We had the March Kaiseki menu.
Everything was perfect !! Starting drink to dessert. :))

Especially, Cactus Sushi was very frist time to eat in my life. Only in Mexico. LOL

I haven't seen " Asahi Dry black Beer "any where.
I like atmosphere, food and price too.
It was $1800peso per person. But it is cheaper than any Japanese authentic Kaiseki in North America.

Also owener is Mr. Asai and he is very friendly and good Japanese chief.

I will go back there on July for summer vacation.

Superb place for authentic Japanese fare. Chef Asai is super creative and combines centuries of Japanese culinary traditional with Mexican flavors and ingredientes. Not all Japanese food is sushi. Yes he serves good nigiris, ramen and soba, but the Kaiseki tasting menus are a must. Expensive, but what an experience.
