We stumbled upon this place and, to our surprise, it turned out to be an exceptional small restaurant, serving sandwiches which are way better than the ones made in Italy and around Europe. Also, the owners were super friendly and attentive! If you visit the neighborhood, go there!

I feel very lucky that I accidentally found this place. I got warm greeting from the owner and he speaks good English. As someone doesn’t speak Spanish, this made me very comfortable.
They have great amount of selection of sandwiches and pasta. Some of them are vegan friendly. I had hummus sandwich and chocolate, both were delicious. Reasonable prices, I highly recommend this place!

We really recommend this place⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We have been at El Olmu Azul for lunch.

They offer very high quality Sandwiches (Emparedados) for a very fair price. It's a perfect value for money. The food was delicious and they used very fresh ingredients.

We had one Pesto and one Tuna Sandwich. After the two Sandwiches we were full, but they were so delicious, that we decided to share a 3rd one.

I really recommend the fruit smoothies, so delicious. The smoothies are really made of fresh fruits. That's very important for us.

The stuff is friendly and courteous. They can read your needs from your eyes. We had a very nice conversation with the owner. He is a very kind person and his english is very well.

Excellent food and drink. I came here because I saw it was the highest rated restaurant in the area, and I was not disappointed. The owner / chef was very personable. He speaks English and we chatted a bit. He very kindly allowed me to sit and do some work for over an hour on my laptop. I believe they have Wi-Fi there, but I couldn't figure out how to connect to it. The chef recommended the blueberry smoothie and the chicken pesto sandwich. They were both excellent. Also allowed me to sample the agua fresca he was making that day: apple and beetroot. Truly a delightful experience. I'd come back if I could.

Unbelievably kind staff. Delicious tortas and such a cool location! It’s also really close to the Frida Kahlo museum. 10 out of 10!
