Cute little restaurant just a few blocks away from the hectic Coyoacán main square. There are 2 of this cafés; this is the most gourmet one. Their staff is friendly, the food delicious and although they warn you about the smaller portions, it was just fine with us. Their pastries are heavenly.

Yum this place is so good! We were leaving the Museum near by looking for a place to eat and Montse explained to us exactly what was on the menu and how we could modify it as vegetarians. She was so nice and made the experience great! She also recommended to really good coffee drinks with alcohol, one with ice cream. The chef Christian made me a yummy pasta without meat in it and custom made an omelette for my bf with cheese and veggies. Everything was so good! If you are in the area you have to try the restaurant. Not only is the food good but the staff is so nice and make the experience great.

Amazing egg benedict, waffles and berries smoothie!
Just one meal was kinda strange including baked bananas, poached eggs rolled in pancake or smth.
English speaking waitress, what is kinda rare in Mexico.

The only reason I am giving this place 3 stars is because our waiter was really bad. He was mostly absent and super slow. Oh and they didn't have spoons! The food was mostly amazing and beautifully presented. The portions are really small. I asked for the combo vegetarian sandwich. It included the soup and drink of the day, a salad (dressing is too sour) and half a sandwich that I probably finished in 3 bites. The soup and drink and the salad were really good. My husband asked for the lima soup (tiny!) And the pulled pork sandwich which he said was very good. My daughter got the lasagne and found it and the salad too sour.

It took a while to find someone to wait on us, but after that everything fell into place. Attentive service and savory desserts. Live music was great! Wine is overpriced in our opinion so we opted for tea.

My weekend favorite place for breakfast, I really enjoy the atmosphere of this place, the live music, the food, the service and the location (Coyoacan). Very recommended but be there early.

Nice, real tasty food. Quite quick, good flavours. Nice people, nice place. Reasonably priced for what you are getting. Coffee was nice. I had the Israeli eggs and my companion went waffles. It was worth the stop on the way to Frieda Karol museum.
